WHAT WE BELIEVE
We are convicted that students are a living and vibrant part of the body of Christ. We want to make much of Jesus in our student ministry, which means we are committed to serious study of God’s word and what it has to teach us about our savior. Christ bids us to find rest in him, so you will also see our student ministry spend time resting and having fun with one another. We seek to prepare them to serve and grow in the church which is the primary community Christ chose to shape our lives and magnify himself.
GET INVOLVED
In addition to participating in Sunday worship, our middle and high-schoolers meet regularly to study God’s word in large and small groups. We are relationship oriented, which means we want our students to experience gospel-centered community through hangouts, service opportunities, and retreats. We hope our students learn first and foremost that Jesus is everything and that his grace meets us in every part of our lives. Parents and students are encouraged to connect and learn more about who we are and what we do.
Sunday Mornings
God is committed to our worship of him as our great God and King. We believe that commitment extends throughout all age groups in God’s people, so we invite our youth to participate in worship with the entire body. Our hope for our students is that they would grow in their faith in the context of community and engage fully in the life of the church.
Large Group
We are committed to providing intentional, gospel-centered instruction to our youth that emphasizes the overarching story of scripture and how the reality of the gospel means we are looking forward to full and final restoration in Jesus. Our middle and high school students meet together on Sunday evenings to worship and enjoy fellowship with each other.
Small Groups
We want our students to gain a deeper appreciation and knowledge of God’s word. During the week, youth small groups meet regularly on a rotating basis to study the Bible. We occasionally discuss more specific topics such as technology or relationships. These studies are intended to demonstrate how the gospel speaks to every area of life.
Hangouts and Retreats
Scripture shows us that we were meant for relationship. We want to encourage and walk alongside our students as they navigate community and relationships together. Our youth ministry meets regularly for social events to allow students to grow in friendship and fellowship with each other. We also participate in retreats and conferences throughout the year.
REFORMED YOUTH MINISTRIES
We partner with Reformed Youth Ministries (RYM) to give our students opportunities for fellowship and growth in Christ. RYM seeks to be a resource for churches by hosting youth conferences and retreats where students gather for worship and fun. RYM also equips staff and leaders through regular training sessions.
